"Tony and I work together from the start of works until handover of the site. We will meet on site and discuss the layout and requirements for inspections. I rely on the site supervisor to make initial contact to arrange a schedule of inspections, this includes air testing every foul and surface water sewer laid where practical, pre top inspections are arranged at least a week before topping to ensure there are no issues that would require major works to the manholes. The final stages of the inspections are to enter the maintenance period, this involves lifting all manholes to ensure they are to the adoptable standard, Tony will always make sure the manholes and sewers are cleaned and any remedials have been completed prior to the inspection. Tony and his team will complete the site by carrying out a final inspection with myself, at this point the site will be adopted by AW. I have worked with Tony for around 5 years and feel we work well together; any issues are generally resolved quickly in order to progress the site. On arrival on Tony’s sites, I have always found they are well organised, with materials stacked correctly and safely, with a clear and safe path around the site avoiding construction traffic where possible"
