Foundations

We cover strip, trench, pad, raft, and All RC foundations. We have quality check sheets in house and liaise with local authority and building control to pass on a pre-pour system. All specifications are adhered to by structural engineers.

Drainage

Our work is predominantly in this sector and we pride ourselves on our work which could consist of 100mm – 2000mm in diameter and consist of clay, concrete, Dyka Ultra or Funka. Depths range between 1m – 6m Deep. All our work is quality checked in house prior to backfilling and signed off by local water authority (Anglian, Thames).

Ground support

Working at depths which need ground support, We have specialist temporary works supervisors to install all methods of ground support systems including diverse and complex systems which sites and clients require. Everything is checked and signed off by our Temporary works Co-ordinator and logged / registered within our files.

Hard and soft landscape

We cover all projects ranging from a domestic driveway, patio and returfing a garden to a town centre re generation. All types of kerbing, channelling for drainage and bespoke street furniture installed. Slabbing to tight tolerances.

Oversite construction

Residential developers can be assured our oversites are handed over to them in time and of a high standard. Working through our stage checks from the foundations up we pride ourselves on a zero rating for reportable items throughout our works.

Concrete finishes

Our team specialise in the placement of concrete either for an oversite which needs a polished finish or self levelling mixes that require a spray curing compound. Commercial, Retail Internal and external larger RC floors with Polished or brush finish also.

Service installation / exposure / investigation

All our services are laid in conjunction with NJUG guidelines, Only certified operatives will work on live apparatus and make connections liaising with the asset owners. Exposure and investigation works are always required before works commence.

Headwalls / Ponds / Swales

The latest GPS satellite systems are used to create these drainage systems in which our machine drivers are using daily. This takes the element away from profiling and labour. All types of modules are created and uploaded to the brain on the item of plant. Any lining within these systems are sealed and certified before placement of topsoil. There is generally a storm defence system in place for the potential flood risk across sites and it is vital these are installed effectively. Sediment beds or mattresses are used at outfalls which are also paramount.

Retaining Walls

Either Brickwork, RC, or Envirowalls we can provide the skilled operatives for the required projects. We carefully follow the designs from manufacturers and structural engineers to produce the highest quality of work. Combined with our quality control and stage check sheets.

Underground tanks / pump stations

We have an array of experience in this domain, large aqua cell holding or soakaway crates are generally used for storm water systems. All civils works for foul water pumping stations at depths of 4m – 7m deep. We sub contract the mechanical and electrical element out to specialists if this is within our groundworks package. Oil by pass separators / tanks with concrete surround and cover slabs.

Our roads we construct go through an in house audit check and continuous monitoring and inspections throughout the construction phase by the local county council inspectors and approved engineers. The required stage testing and sampling is adhered to. We have NRSWA operatives and supervisors who oversee projects within the highways.
